A website has been created to fundraise for a rainbow pride crosswalk in Norfolk County.
Last month, eight-year-old Ryder Mandryk spoke to council requesting a pride crosswalk be installed in Simcoe to show members of the LGBT community that they are appreciated and supported locally.
Members of council were on board with the idea, but did acknowledge the $7,000 to $10,000 price tag.
That was Adam Veri, project coordinator.
The website has been created to share Ryder’s story and to allow for donations to the fund.

Our first story featuring Ryder’s deputation to council can be found here.
