The new owners of Andy’s Drive In have always talked about owning a business together.
Heather and Brian Pynaert, Norfolk County natives, returned to the community after ten years away to start their family.
With daughters Cadence, 3, and Breanna, 1, the couple felt it was time to get their family business.
Taking over ownership on May 17th, meant dealing with Ontario’s reopening plans as they were developing.
Picnic tables are out, and as soon as indoor dining is allowed they plan on reopening the inside space.
The Pynaerts spoke prior to taking over about how they want to run the restaurant, and what old regulars can expect from the new family.
They are preparing to celebrate the business’s 75th anniversary next year.
