A Brantford woman has been arrested in connection to a homicide investigation.
In March of last year, police found the body of 37-year-old Shannon MacDougall while performing a wellness check and found the death to be suspicious.
Now, 28-year-old Christine Birt has been arrested and charged with 2nd degree murder.
The investigation is ongoing.
