With COVID-19 seemingly under control, Six Nations Of The Grand River are loosening restrictions tomorrow.
Effective midnight, Six Nations will be moving into Alert Level Orange of the COVID-19 Pandemic Response Framework.
Under Alert Level Orange, the following restrictions will be in place:
– Private gatherings with masks and physical distancing limited to 5 people indoors, 10 people outdoors
– Monitored gatherings are limited to 10 people indoors and 25 people outdoors
– No travel restrictions, but it is not recommended. Avoid travel to any areas with a higher alert status than Six Nations
– Restaurants can open for indoor dining, but only 4 people may be seated together
– Retail businesses can open, but all patrons must wear face coverings and must physical distance
Six Nations has 0 active cases at the moment.
In a recent release, it was explained that they are continuing with a modified COVID-19 Pandemic Response Framework to consider local context more suited to the area.
