There is still a big question mark next to Normandale beach.
Weeks ago, the province listed the beach for sale after talks fell through with the county.
During her State Of The County address, Mayor Chopp said the reason the talks fell through in the first place had to do with the price tag and a lack of transparency.
After public backlash, the beach was then taking off the MLS site and talks resumed with the county.
Mayor Chopp said progress did appear to be happening, but then the province backed off.
Now, Mayor Kristal Chopp said they are back at square one, but she hopes good news comes from this.
Chopp is hopeful an update can be provided in the near future.
