Russell Colebrook didn’t win in his race to be Mayor, but he is giving municipal politics another go with a bid for Ward 2.
Colebrook feels a voice of the common man needs to be at the table and feels he has what it takes to get the clogged system going.
Colebrook also spoke with us about this past year, and how it has been a battle weathering the pandemic being just an average joe.
While he lives in Renton, which outside of ward 2, he feels that voice of the average guy feeling the pinch needs to be heard, and that is a universal message across all wards.
He believes that voice is especially important during budget talks.
There has been no updates regarding the ward 2 by-election or if it is still on schedule or delayed due to stay-at-home and other shutdown orders.
