If you don’t have a computer but you want your voice heard when it comes to the Legacy Fund – you can now submit a letter.
In a report to council, Deputy Clerk Kevin Klingenberg provides our elected officials with a list of other contact information residents can also use to give their two cents on whether $5-million or any sum of money should be borrowed from the legacy fund.
Previously, the county was taking this feedback electronically.
People can now mail a letter, do a contactless delivery of that letter to the County administration building, or phone in your comments.
To send a letter, you can address it to:
50 Colborne Street S,
Simcoe ON
N3Y 4H3
For contactless delivery:
Contactless delivery of a letter, addressed to Clerk’s Department at the dropbox by the Council Chambers entrance of the County Admin Building
To contact the county by phone:
Call the County at 519-426-5870, dial 0 and ask the operator to speak to a Clerks Department staff, or extension 6269 to directly reach Clerk’s staff
The goal is to ensure all constituents are equally represented.
