Anyone heading to Talbot Gardens Arena in Simcoe this week will need to use a different entrance.
Norfolk County says the arena’s front entrance will be temporarily closed while crews complete improvements to make it more accessible.
The closure is expected to begin at 8 a.m. on Monday, November 2, and continue until 5 p.m. on Friday, November 6.
During that time, visitors will still be able to enter and exit Talbot Gardens using the doors on the south and east sides of the facility.
For those requiring an accessible entrance, barrier-free doors will be available on the southwest side of the building.
The work is part of improvements to the arena’s front entrance aimed at improving barrier-free accessibility.
Residents planning to visit Talbot Gardens during the five-day closure are encouraged to keep the temporary entrance changes in mind when arriving at the facility.
