Corn lovers will have plenty to sink their teeth into this weekend as CORNStalk celebrates its fifth anniversary in Scotland.
The family-friendly event runs Saturday, September 19, from 3:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Meuse Brewery, across the road from Welsh Brothers farm.
Farmer and organizer Charles Welsh told Norfolk Today that admission includes a full meal.
Welsh adds that for dessert they will serve fresh corn donuts.
CORNStalk also features live music from the Blurry Pickers and The Killin’ Time Band, along with games, door prizes and the popular corn-eating contest.
Welsh said the event was inspired by childhood memories of growing up on the farm.
Welsh expects between 300 and 400 people from across the region and beyond to come out and enjoy the food, beverages and live music.
Tickets are $35 at the door, and the celebration will go ahead rain or shine.
