A fundraising campaign underway at RONA in Simcoe is supporting the Norfolk Hospital Nursing Home.
The RONA Foundation’s annual Home Sweet Home campaign is raising money for nearly 150 local organizations across Canada, with the Simcoe store collecting donations specifically for the Norfolk Hospital Nursing Home.
The campaign runs through October 12, with customers able to donate while shopping at participating RONA and RONA+ stores or online.
Donations can be made in amounts of $2, $5 or $10 at checkout.
The RONA Foundation says the campaign supports organizations helping vulnerable people, including victims of domestic violence, low-income families and individuals with special needs or mental health issues.
This year, the foundation has set a goal of raising $500,000 through customer donations and employee participation.
Since the campaign began in 2023, the RONA Foundation says nearly $2 million has been donated to hundreds of non-profit organizations across Canada.
Locally, donations made through the Simcoe RONA will go toward supporting the Norfolk Hospital Nursing Home.
The Home Sweet Home campaign continues until October 12.
