A 16-year-old is facing several charges following a reported dispute at a residence in Langton.
Norfolk County OPP officers responded to a Queen Street residence shortly before 5 p.m. Monday, following a report of a dispute.
Police say their investigation determined that several individuals were involved in an interaction inside the residence.
During the incident, one person allegedly threatened another and brandished a weapon.
No injuries were reported.
As a result of the investigation, a 16-year-old resident of Norfolk County was arrested and charged with:
- Uttering threats – cause death or bodily harm
- Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose
- Failing to comply with a sentence under the Youth Criminal Justice Act
The accused’s identity is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
The youth is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe at a later date.
