Summer is coming to a close, and the Norfolk County Fair and Horse Show is approaching fast.
While the Fair is a tradition for many, that doesn’t mean it can’t introduce a few changes to freshen things up.
Angela Hogeveen, General Manager with the Norfolk County Agricultural Society, says one of those changes is a new five-year partnership with Nova Mutual Insurance.
Hogeveen says this partnership will see Nova Mutual become the presenting sponsor, with Saturday of the Fair officially designated as Nova Mutual Day.
While she is excited to talk about that, she says there is much more coming in the future.
This new partnership also spurred other changes.
As they went to add Nova Mutual as the presenting sponsor on their logo, Hogeveen realized it was a good time to revamp the Fair’s imaging.
Hogeveen wasn’t done with changes, though.
The Fair decided to add something special to Wednesday of Fair week.
Advance admission tickets are now available online, with in-person sales beginning Wednesday, August 26 at participating Roulston’s Pharmacy locations. Advance daily admission is $15, while weekly passes are available for $65.
Unlimited one-day ride vouchers are also available for $40.
The Norfolk County Agricultural Society says the Fair attracts more than 110,000 visitors annually and has been a community tradition for more than 185 years.
Full ticket information, schedules, and details about this year’s Fair are available through the Norfolk County Fair website.
