A 34-year-old Norfolk County resident is dead following a collision involving a motorcycle and an SUV near Silver Hill.
Norfolk County OPP, along with Norfolk County Paramedic Services and the Norfolk County Fire Department, responded to the collision on 10th Concession Road shortly after 5 p.m. Tuesday.
Police say the crash involved a motorcycle and a sport utility vehicle, and the motorcyclist suffered life-threatening injuries before being pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the SUV and several passengers were not injured.
The West Region OPP Traffic Incident Management Enforcement Team is assisting Norfolk County officers with the investigation.
10th Concession Road, between Forestry Farm Road and East Quarter Line Road, was closed while investigators worked at the scene and reopened early Wednesday morning.
