Norfolk County OPP are once again reminding residents to remove valuables from their vehicles as thieves continue to target both locked and unlocked vehicles.
The latest warning follows a similar reminder from police last week after recent incidents involving vehicles in Waterford and Simcoe.
This time, police were called to Greenock Street West in Port Dover around 4:20 p.m. Sunday, August 16.
Investigators determined that sometime overnight, one or more people forced their way into a vehicle parked on the property, damaging its exterior.
Nothing was reported missing or stolen.
The investigation remains ongoing, and police are asking anyone with information to contact the Norfolk County OPP at 1-888-310-1122 and reference incident E261184766.
Anonymous tips can also be submitted through Crime Stoppers.
OPP are again urging residents to keep their vehicles locked, remove valuables and report any suspicious activity to police.
