A Norfolk County man is facing multiple charges after a drug trafficking investigation led by the Haldimand/Norfolk Ontario Provincial Police Community Street Crime Unit.
Police said officers executed search warrants at properties on Imperial Street in Delhi and Clubhouse Road in Turkey Point at about 5:20 a.m. on Thursday, July 30. The operation involved assistance from the Brant/Oxford OPP Community Street Crime Unit and the West Region OPP Emergency Response Team.
One person was taken into custody without incident at the Delhi property.
During the searches, officers seized suspected cocaine, a weapon, drug trafficking paraphernalia, a stolen Honda motorcycle and a stolen Ski-Doo snowmobile.
As a result of the investigation, 31-year-old Nicolas Wall of Norfolk County has been charged with possession of cocaine, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, stunt driving and operating a motor vehicle while prohibited, among other alleged offences.
The accused remained in custody and was scheduled to appear for a bail hearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe yesterday.
