Norfolk County Mayor Amy Martin with HNHC CEO Matt Bowen from 2024
The Haldimand Norfolk Housing Corporation has announced that Chief Executive Officer Matt Bowen will be stepping down from his role. His final day with the organization will be September 11.
Bowen joined HNHC in 2019 and helped lead the organization through several affordable housing initiatives and development projects aimed at meeting housing needs across Haldimand and Norfolk.
The HNHC Board of Directors thanked Bowen for his leadership and contributions during his time as CEO. A recruitment process to find his successor is expected to begin in the coming weeks, with more details about the transition to be shared as they become available.
Reflecting on his time with the organization, Bowen said, “It has been a privilege to work alongside a dedicated team committed to supporting tenants and strengthening our communities.” He added that he is proud of what the organization accomplished together and believes HNHC is well positioned to continue delivering important housing services across Haldimand and Norfolk.
