Community Resource Service has appointed Beth Noble Luciani as its next executive director.
The organization, which operates the Brantford Food Bank and Community Employment Service, announced Luciani will begin the role on Aug. 10, succeeding Heather Vanner after her 25 years of service.
Luciani will work alongside Vanner until her retirement on Aug. 31 to ensure a smooth leadership transition.
She brings more than 15 years of experience in the non-profit sector, including leadership roles in fundraising, community engagement and strategic partnerships.
Luciani currently serves as Regional Director for Brant, Haldimand and Norfolk with United Way Golden Horseshoe. She previously led Brant United Way as executive director, overseeing the organization during a period of growth and regional transition.
In a statement, Luciani said she is honoured to join Community Resource Service.
“Community Resource Service has a long history of supporting individuals and families through food security, employment services and community programs,” she said. “I look forward to working alongside the dedicated staff, volunteers, board members, community partners, donors and clients as we continue to strengthen our impact.”
Board Chair Sean Hauk said Luciani’s leadership experience and commitment to the community made her the ideal choice to guide the organization into its next chapter.
Community Resource Service provides food security, employment assistance and community support programs for residents across the Brantford area.
