The Simcoe and District Humane Society is putting a playful spin on its next fundraiser with a Spay-ghetti and No Balls Dinner on Saturday, June 20, at the Royal Canadian Legion in Simcoe.
The family-friendly spaghetti dinner will be served from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., with live music, entertainment and a silent auction continuing until 11 p.m.
Dinner includes meat sauce, vegetarian sauce, a limited amount of Alfredo sauce, salad, buns, dessert, coffee, tea and juice.
Tickets are $25 for adults, $15 for children under 12, and children five and under eat free.
The Simcoe and District Humane Society says every animal rescue, emergency veterinary visit and adoption depends entirely on volunteers and community donations, making fundraisers like this essential to its work.
Tickets are available at Global Pet Foods, Pet Valu Simcoe, Ruffins Simcoe and the shelter at 24 Grigg Drive. They can also be purchased by e-transfer to finance@s-dhs.ca, with a note indicating which tickets are being purchased.
