Norfolk County residents are invited to take part in Community Days 2026, a weekend of free and low-cost activities celebrating recreation, culture, and community connections across the county.
The annual event features programs at community centres, museums, libraries, parks, pools, arenas, and other local facilities from June 11 to 14.
Thursday’s schedule includes free pickleball shinny at the Simcoe Recreation Centre, a Discover Norfolk Walk in St. Williams, and a Family Fun Event at the St. Williams Ball Diamond with games, story activities, refreshments, giveaways, and an opportunity to meet Norfolk County firefighters and see a fire truck up close.
Families can also enjoy free storytime sessions at Norfolk County Public Library branches on Friday before a busy Saturday featuring a free family swim in Delhi, Water Safety Awareness Day at Port Dover Beach, the Arbor Dog Races, local history book sales, a LEGO challenge, and the Waterford Heritage and Agricultural Museum’s Car Boot Sale.
The weekend wraps up Sunday with a free public skate in Waterford and a free public swim at the Delhi Kinsmen Pool.
