Child and Family Services of Grand Erie (CFSGE) has announced the appointment of Gabe Minor as its new Executive Director, effective July 6, 2026.
The organization’s Board of Directors said Minor was selected following a province-wide search that attracted many qualified candidates. The board said his extensive leadership experience and strong understanding of child welfare and public service made him the ideal choice to lead the agency into its next chapter.
Minor brings more than 20 years of experience in child welfare and public service, including frontline and management positions, senior leadership with the Ontario Public Service, and most recently a regional oversight role with the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services.
Board Chair Rhonda Morley said Minor’s background in child welfare, public service and systems leadership will help CFSGE continue supporting children, youth and families across Brantford, Brant, Haldimand and Norfolk through the evolving challenges facing the sector.
