Norfolk County is advising residents that the temporary closure of the Kin Club of Delhi Dog Park has been extended due to ongoing maintenance work.
Originally scheduled to reopen earlier, the facility will now remain closed until Friday, June 19, 2026. The extension is required to allow staff to complete necessary maintenance and ensure the park is safe and fully operational before reopening to the public.
During the closure period, residents are encouraged to use alternative off-leash areas nearby. The Don Shay Memorial Dog Park, located at 176 Hunt Street in Simcoe, and the Audrey S. Hellyer Dog Park at 32 Church Street East in Waterford remain open and available for public use.
County officials thank residents for their patience and understanding while the work is completed. Staff note that maintaining park infrastructure is essential to ensuring safe, accessible recreational spaces for both pets and their owners across Norfolk County.
