A drug trafficking investigation in Simcoe has resulted in multiple arrests and charges following the execution of a search warrant by police.
The Ontario Provincial Police Community Street Crime Unit, with support from regional emergency response and canine units, carried out the warrant at a residence on Scott Avenue on April 10. Officers located three individuals inside the home and took them into custody without incident.
Police say a search of the residence uncovered suspected cocaine and crack cocaine, along with Canadian currency, drug-related paraphernalia, and a prohibited weapon. The seizure is part of an ongoing effort to address drug trafficking in the community.
Police say the investigation remains ongoing and are continuing efforts to combat illegal drug activity in the region.
