The Norfolk Hospital Nursing Home is inviting community members to step forward and help shape the future of local care.
The Simcoe-based home is currently seeking applicants to join its Board of Directors, offering a chance to make a meaningful impact while gaining leadership experience. As the organization looks ahead, including plans for a new and modern nursing home, board members will play a key role in guiding decisions that affect residents today and into the future.
Volunteers on the board help set strategic direction, support high-quality resident care, and provide financial and governance oversight. They also contribute to planning for growth and redevelopment.
Board Chair Marg Bailey says community involvement is essential to the home’s success, noting that members help guide its future while supporting strong care for residents.
The board welcomes applicants from all backgrounds. While experience in areas like healthcare, finance, law, or business is helpful, it’s not required.
Applications are open until April 20th. Learn more or apply here: https://nhnh.ca/7387-2/
