A section of Colborne Street North remains closed as Norfolk OPP investigate a serious collision involving a pedestrian.
Police say the incident happened Thursday, March 26, around 8:30 p.m. on Colborne Street North between Yonge Street and Robinson Street. Officers, along with Norfolk Paramedic Services, responded to reports of a collision involving a motor vehicle and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian was initially taken to hospital with serious injuries. In an update provided Friday, police say those injuries have now been upgraded to life-threatening.
Colborne Street North remains closed between Yonge Street and Robinson Street as investigators continue their work. There is currently no timeline for when the road will reopen.
