Young entrepreneurs in Norfolk have a chance to turn their business ideas into reality this summer through the 2026 Summer Company Grant Program.
The program offers up to $3,000 in funding to eligible students aged 15 to 29, along with training, mentorship, and coaching through the Brantford-Brant Business Resource Centre.
Participants will gain hands-on experience running their own business while learning key skills like marketing, customer service, and financial management.
“Summer Company shows young people that entrepreneurship is achievable,” said John Regan, Norfolk County’s Director of Economic Development. “By providing financial support and expert guidance, the program can help Norfolk’s next generation of innovators take that all-important first step.”
Applicants must be Ontario students not currently operating a business and able to commit to the program over the summer.
Applications are open until May 15, 2026.
