Norfolk County residents are being advised of updates affecting two local bulk water depots, with one service now restored and another scheduled for temporary closure due to maintenance.
The Port Rowan Bulk Water Depot is back up and running as of Wednesday, March 18, 2026. County officials confirmed that service has been fully restored following a recent disruption, thanking residents for their patience during the outage.
Meanwhile, users of the Port Dover Bulk Water Depot should plan ahead, as the facility will be temporarily out of service for routine maintenance. The scheduled closure will run from Monday, March 23 through Friday, March 27, 2026.
During that time, residents and businesses who rely on bulk water services are encouraged to use alternate depot locations across Norfolk County, including those in Port Dover, Simcoe, Waterford, and Delhi.
Officials note that the maintenance work is part of regular upkeep to ensure the long-term reliability and safety of the system. They also thank users in advance for their understanding and cooperation while the work is completed.
