Norfolk General Hospital (NGH) is inviting residents to step forward and help shape local healthcare by joining its Board of Directors.
The Simcoe-based hospital says board members play an important role in guiding its future. Volunteers help oversee quality of care, financial planning, and overall governance to support patients and families across Norfolk County.
Board Chair Peter Krause says serving on the board is a meaningful way to give back, adding the hospital is looking for people willing to share their knowledge and take part in important decisions.
The volunteer board meets about nine times a year, with members also having the opportunity to sit on committees.
NGH welcomes applicants from a variety of backgrounds, including those with experience in finance, healthcare, or law. The hospital also emphasizes its commitment to diversity and inclusion.
