The South Coast Special Needs Kids closed out their season in spectacular fashion, rallying to a 9-5 victory over the Ontario Provincial Police West Region team.
At one point, the game was tied 4-4, but the athletes pulled together to finish strong in a thrilling matchup that had fans cheering throughout.
Community support played a key role, with attendees bringing non-perishable food donations and turning out in full force to celebrate the athletes’ hard work and dedication.
The event, organized for the past 17 years by OPP officer Jer Renton, remains a highlight of the season, bringing the community together while giving the athletes a chance to shine and share their accomplishments.
