A youth from Norfolk County is facing charges following a police investigation into alleged threats made online.
Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police say officers were called to investigate a report involving threats on Sunday, March 1 at approximately 9:23 p.m.
According to police, the incident involved an electronic exchange among several individuals during which one person allegedly made threats toward two others.
Following an investigation, a 15-year-old resident of Norfolk County was arrested.
The youth has been charged with two counts of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.
Because the accused is under the age of 18, their identity cannot be released under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
Police say the accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe at a later date.
