One person has been charged following a stabbing incident in Dunnville earlier this year.
The Ontario Provincial Police say officers from the Haldimand detachment, along with the West Region Emergency Response Team, were called to a Lock Street address on Tuesday, January 6, for a report of a stabbing.
When officers arrived, they located an individual suffering from injuries caused by an edged weapon.
The victim was transported to hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
As a result of the investigation, a 48 from Dunnville, has been charged with robbery with violence, aggravated assault, break and enter to commit an indictable offence, two counts of possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking, and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
Police say the investigation is ongoing and that two additional individuals, both believed to be males of medium build, are still being sought.
One suspect was described as wearing dark pants, a dark jacket with a fur-trimmed hood, a face covering, and a backpack.
The second was described as wearing a grey or blue plaid jacket, dark pants, and a face covering.
