Police are investigating a smash-and-grab robbery that took place inside Lynden Park Mall earlier this week.
According to the Brantford Police Service, officers were called to a jewelry store in the mall on Monday, at approximately 4:25 p.m. after four masked male suspects entered the business, smashed glass display cabinets, and stole a large quantity of jewelry.
Investigators say the suspects were described as follows: one white male with a thin build, approximately 5’7” to 5’9” tall, wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and black pants; one Black male, approximately 250 pounds and between 5’8” and 5’10” tall, dressed in all black; and two additional Black males, both thin build and approximately 5’7” to 5’9” tall, also wearing all black clothing.
Employees and customers were inside the store at the time of the robbery; however, police confirmed that no physical injuries were reported.
