Two vehicles have been reported stolen in separate incidents in Norfolk County, and police are asking for the public’s help in locating them and identifying those responsible.
The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) say the first incident was reported on Saturday at approximately 7:35 p.m.
Officers responded to a property on Norfolk County Road 23 in Langton after receiving a report of a vehicle theft.
Investigators determined that sometime overnight, one or more unidentified individuals attended the property and stole a white 2017 Acura RDX sport utility vehicle bearing Ontario licence plates CPVP622.
Police have released a photograph of a similar vehicle for reference.
In a separate incident, officers were called on Tuesday, at approximately 1:58 p.m., to a property on Windham Road 5 in Vanessa regarding another vehicle theft.
Police say that sometime between Saturday and Tuesday, one or more unidentified individuals attended the property and stole a grey 2024 Ford F-150 pickup truck bearing Ontario licence plates CA48118.
Both investigations remain ongoing.
Police are urging residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity in their neighbourhoods.
Anyone with information about either theft, or the current whereabouts of the stolen vehicles, is asked to contact the OPP or submit a tip anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
