One of the most recognizable fixtures at the Norfolk County Fair and Horse Show has been formally recognized for its long-standing contribution to the community.
The Norfolk County Agricultural Society recently presented the Canadian Association of Fairs and Exhibitions Distinguished Service Award to Bev’s Chip Wagon, an iconic vendor that has been serving fairgoers for more than a decade.
The award recognizes organizations that have provided exceptional service to a fair for ten or more years, highlighting their role in enriching the overall experience for attendees.
“Over the years, Bev’s Chip Wagon has become part of the Fair experience itself,” said a spokesperson for the Agricultural Society. “Serving up Norfolk’s favourite fries, they help create a welcoming, familiar atmosphere that keeps people coming back year after year. Their dedication has helped make the Fair a true community tradition.”
Fair organizers expressed gratitude for the vendor’s long-standing presence and support, emphasizing that Bev’s Chip Wagon has become a beloved fixture that contributes to the fair’s charm and sense of community.
Visitors are encouraged to join the Agricultural Society in celebrating the achievement and thanking Bev’s for their years of service.
