Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a 9-1-1 call reporting a suspected break-and-enter at a home on Norfolk Street North in Simcoe.
Officers arrived on scene and conducted a search of the property, where they located an individual inside the residence.
The investigation confirmed that damage had been caused to the interior of the home, though no one else was present at the time.
