Two people are facing multiple charges following a traffic stop in Haldimand County.
Ontario Provincial Police say officers conducted a traffic stop around 8:00 p.m. on Friday while on patrol on King Street in Hagersville.
During the stop, officers determined there was a quantity of suspected illicit drugs inside the vehicle.
Both occupants were arrested and taken into custody.
A 48-year-old Ohsweken man is charged with possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, two counts of possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking, and driving with an open container of liquor.
A 39-year-old man from Hagersville is charged with possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, and failing to properly wear a seatbelt.
