Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police say a man who was previously reported missing from Simcoe has been safely located.
Officers were first called on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at approximately 2:06 p.m., after receiving a report about a missing 44-year-old man. Police say he was last seen on the evening of Saturday, January 24, in the area of Norfolk Street South and Peel Street.
Following an investigation and public assistance, OPP confirm the individual has been found and is safe. No further details have been released.
Police are now asking that any previously shared photos of the individual be removed from social media and other platforms. OPP also extended their thanks to the community for helping in the search.
