Student Transportation Services of Brant Haldimand Norfolk have cancelled all schools and buses for today.
Typically, the decision is made by 6:30 a.m. but a special decision was made just past 7 a.m.
The deterioration of road conditions and white outs from the strong winds were noted as the reason for the cancellation.
