Norfolk County OPP are asking for the public’s help after two pickup trucks were reported stolen from properties in La Salette on Sunday, January 18, 2026.
The first theft was reported at approximately 8:55 a.m., when officers were called to a property on Brantford Road. Police say that sometime overnight, one or more unknown individuals entered the property and stole a black 2015 GMC Sierra pickup truck. The vehicle has a custom front grille, a fuel tank mounted in the truck bed, and Ontario licence plate number 8795HA.
Later that same day, at around 5:50 p.m., officers responded to another report of a vehicle theft, this time on Windham Road 19 in La Salette. In that case, police say three unidentified individuals arrived at the property in a pickup truck and stole a purple 2007 Chevrolet Silverado with Ontario licence plate CB52549.
Shortly after the second theft, officers were called to a fail-to-remain collision on Windham Road 19. Based on evidence collected at the scene, police believe the stolen Chevrolet Silverado was involved in the crash. The vehicle is expected to have front-end damage and a missing front grille.
Police are asking anyone who may have information about either theft, or who may have seen the vehicles, to contact Norfolk County OPP or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
