Two individuals are facing numerous charges following a drug trafficking investigation led by the Haldimand/Norfolk OPP Community Street Crime Unit.
Police say the investigation culminated on Friday, January 16, 2026, at approximately 10:00 p.m., when members of the OPP Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement Squad arrested two individuals at a Baldwin Street location in Tillsonburg. The arrests were connected to a Norfolk County drug trafficking investigation, and one of the suspects was also wanted on an outstanding warrant.
That individual had previously been identified as a suspect in a firearm-related incident at a residence on Kent Street North in Simcoe on January 10. During a search following the arrests, officers seized suspected fentanyl and methamphetamine, along with Canadian currency and a loaded firearm.
As a result, 25-year-old Jahvon Lasalle of Brantford is facing a long list of charges, including multiple counts of forcible confinement, robbery using a firearm, firearm possession offences, drug trafficking, breach of court orders, and possession of proceeds of crime.
Also charged is 21-year-old Kairos Liddiard-Coull, of no fixed address, who is facing charges related to firearm possession, drug trafficking, breach of probation, and possession of proceeds of crime.
Police have not released further details, and all charges have yet to be proven in court.
