Norfolk County Council is preparing to review and potentially adopt the Draft 2026 Levy Operating Budget later this month.
The budget will be discussed during a Special Council meeting held as part of the municipality’s Budget Committee deliberations, scheduled for Wednesday, January 21, and continuing Thursday, January 22 if required.
Meetings will begin at 9:30 a.m. and take place in Council Chambers at the Norfolk County Administration Building in Simcoe.
Residents will be able to watch the meeting in person or through the County’s live-streamed council meeting platform.
Copies of the draft operating budget will be published in advance on the County’s website as part of the official meeting agenda.
Members of the public who wish to submit written comments or register to speak before council must do so no later than noon on Wednesday, January 14, using the registration form available online.
