The Norfolk Night Market Christmas Edition is returning this week, offering what organizers describe as a cozy holiday experience. The festive two-day event runs November 28 from 4 to 9 p.m. and November 29 from 4 to 10 p.m. at the Norfolk County Fairgrounds.
Angela Hogeveen of the Norfolk County Agricultural Society, says the goal was to create something special.
She explains that the market is “all about the warmth of the holiday season,” giving families a place to enjoy the sights, sounds, and flavours of Christmas on a chilly winter day. Hogeveen adds that organizers focused on building an immersive experience, not just another shopping event.
Visitors can explore an indoor artisan marketplace featuring more than 70 vendors and mini makers offering holiday-themed gifts. The market also includes live entertainment, fresh chilli in the dining hall, specialty coffees, local wine, beer, and spirits.
Guests can enjoy workshops, horse-drawn carriage rides, meet-and-greet photos with Santa, and outdoor fire pits. Admission is $5, with free entry for kids 12 and under and free parking on-site.
