The Haldimand-Norfolk Homebuilders Association (HNHBA) wrapped up its biggest Christmas Gala yet after hundreds of guests filled MontHill Golf and Country Club in Caledonia this past Wednesday. It was the first time the long-running event moved to the larger venue, marking a new milestone for the Association.
Ontario’s Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing, Hon. Rob Flack, delivered the keynote address, offering updates on the province’s housing strategy and reinforcing the government’s commitment to helping municipalities like Haldimand and Norfolk increase local housing supply. Following the event, Flack posted a message of thanks on social media, recognizing the builders, suppliers, municipal leaders and real estate agents “who are keeping the housing sector strong in Haldimand-Norfolk” and saying, “Together, we are building the homes of the future.”
HNHBA President Ike Keesmaat said the gala provides value, by bringing all sectors of the building industry together under one roof. Director Sarita Free added that guests enjoyed networking, door prizes, cocktails and a lively gingerbread house-building contest.
The HNHBA represents 62 businesses across both counties and continues to welcome new members.
