The Norfolk County OPP is asking for the public’s assistance after an early-morning break-and-enter attempt at a business along Highway 3 near Courtland.
Police say the incident happened at approximately 4:30 a.m. on Friday.
Investigators believe at least two suspects broke into a secure area of the property and attempted to steal two sets of tires and rims from pickup trucks on-site.
The suspects were unsuccessful and fled the area before police arrived.
The individuals were last seen leaving in a newer model GMC or Chevrolet pickup truck hauling an older-style snowmobile trailer.
