Yoplait Canada has issued a widespread recall of its drinkable YOP yogurt products due to concerns that pieces of plastic may be present in some bottles. The recall, now overseen by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA), affects all flavours of the 200 mL YOP drinkable yogurt line.
According to Yoplait, the recall was initiated proactively after the company discovered a defect in a packaging component that could allow plastic fragments to enter the product.
The affected items include products with best before dates from October 21, 2025, through January 12, 2026.
Yoplait says it is working closely with the CFIA and retail partners to ensure no recalled items remain in circulation.
Consumers are advised to check their refrigerators and discard any recalled products. The CFIA continues to update the recall notice if new information becomes available.
