The Valley Heights Secondary School Cheer Team is celebrating major growth this season — and they’re inviting the community to help keep that momentum going. After earning a strong second-place finish at the Norfolk County Fair’s Young Canada Day competition, the team opened its doors to new members and now boasts a roster of 27 athletes.
With more cheerleaders comes the need for more uniforms and more chances to compete in the new year. To support those goals, the team is launching a pair of fundraisers, including a special fashion show in partnership with The Y Knot Shop in Port Rowan.
The event takes place at Valley Heights on Saturday, November 15, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., with doors opening at 12:30. Tickets are $20 and available at the door. Guests can enjoy light refreshments, door prizes, and a fun afternoon of fashion and school spirit.
