Norfolk OPP is investigating the theft of a 53-foot white reefer trailer containing approximately 60 bales of marked tobacco.
The theft is valued at $125,000 and was taken from a property on Vittoria Road early on October 19.
The trailer was taken under circumstances that remain under investigation, and authorities are asking anyone with information to contact the OPP or Crime Stoppers of Haldimand & Norfolk.
The OPP has issued a detailed description of the trailer and is seeking tips from the public to help track down the stolen goods. Residents are reminded to remain vigilant and report suspicious activity in the area.
