Norfolk County has officially opened a new nine-hole disc golf course at Wind-Del Park in Windham Centre, offering residents and visitors a low-cost, outdoor recreation option.
A grand opening celebration is set for Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 10 a.m., featuring free putter discs for the first 20 attendees and a draw for a set of PDGA-approved glow-in-the-dark discs.
The natural-style course uses the existing landscape, with short and long tees to suit both families and competitive players.
The new course will be listed on UDisc, allowing players to locate it, track scores, and join the wider disc golf community.
Developed by Norfolk’s Recreation Team in partnership with ChainLink Disc Golf and community volunteers, the project supports the Mayor’s Round Table goal of expanding affordable recreation options.
