Norfolk County is developing its 2026 municipal budget and inviting residents to learn about new changes in the process.
This is the first budget cycle since the County was granted Strong Mayor Powers by the Province earlier this year.
However, Mayor Amy Martin confirmed the County will continue with its collaborative approach, ensuring Council, staff, and residents all have input.
Public consultation ran from August 1 to September 30, and the first Budget Committee meeting will take place October 16.
Draft budgets will be released before each meeting for public review.
Residents can get involved by visiting engagenorfolk.ca/budget, attending meetings, or registering as a delegate at norfolkcounty.ca/deputations.
