Norfolk County teens have until the end of the day to register for TeenLink, a new program designed to help young people build confidence, purpose, and leadership through supportive, faith-based mentorship.
Developed to guide youth through key areas of growth, TeenLink offers four interconnected groups — Wellness, Identity, Discovery, and Leadership — each focusing on a different stage of personal and spiritual development.
We spoke to Dan Avey, who was excited for the addition of the Identity portion of the program.
Through group discussions, interactive activities, and community engagement, participants are encouraged to explore who they are, strengthen their mental and emotional wellness, and discover their passions and purpose.
TeenLink creates a safe and encouraging space where teens can ask questions, build friendships, and grow in resilience.
The program also focuses on equipping students with life skills — from managing stress and understanding relationships to exploring faith and values.
Avey says it also has ripple effects as well.
