The Norfolk County Fair and Horse Show officially kicks off today, starting with Young Canada Day celebrations this morning.
Local high schools will compete in a series of friendly events – though it looks like they’ll be doing it in the rain.
Opening ceremonies are set for 1 p.m. featuring Daryl Granger, RoseLe Studio, and Dan Johnson’s Live Like Luke.
Despite the wet weather, organizers say the fair’s energy and community spirit remain as strong as ever.
